National Account Manager – Auckland, NZ

As a result of strong growth, this company is seeking a National Account Manager for their Performance Ingredients division in NZ. In this role, you will be responsible for the sales growth of performance additives and materials to manufacturers and marketers of health, nutraceutical, personal care, cosmetics and food products. These are key market for the organisation.

The customer base includes major local and international marketers and manufacturers, contract manufacturers and blenders as well as smaller niche players looking for an innovative edge. The product range includes antiperspirant actives, emollients, dispersants, surfactants, essential oils, suspending agents, rheology modifiers, natural extracts, conditioning agents and polymers, emulsion stabilizers and skin care actives.

If you’re an outgoing, career focused individual, who has worked as a new product development chemist or is qualified in a cosmetic or personal care product formulation science, this role could be ideal for you. It is expected that you will be tertiary qualified in Science or Chemistry e.g Bachelor or Diploma of Personal Care Formulation.

Laboratory Technician for Personal Care Cosmetics

This Australian contract manufacturing company for personal care cosmetics is situated in Dandenong South Melbourne. The company has built a brand new manufacturing facility over the last 12 months incorporating state of the art production and laboratory equipment.  It is continuously growing and currently we are looking to incorporate a full time Laboratory Technician in our team.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Stability testing of laboratory batches and manufactured product.
  • Preparation of Lab scale batches
  • Sample and testing of raw materials.
  • General laboratory housekeeping.
  • Process control

The position has a strong QA & QC responsibility. The successful applicant will ideally have experience in both facets of material inspection and control.

The Criteria for this role:

  • A Bachelor degree or a Diploma in Formulation Science, Chemistry or General Science.
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory is essential.
  • A willingness and enthusiasm to learn is essential, full training will be provided.
  • Ability to follow detailed manufacturing procedures with a high regard for product quality.
  • Full understanding of the GMP process.
  • Must have a Victorian driving licence and own vehicle.

R&D Cosmetic Chemist – (Haircare and Skincare) – Sunshine Coast QLD

We are a small family company with a large, loyal client base based on the sunshine Coast. We are currently seeking to appoint a cosmetic chemist to help redevelop our haircare and skincare line.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Formulation and preparation of products ready for the marketplace.
  • Assist in ordering raw materials from suppliers to manufacture samples
  • Perform validation and testing of formulations to ensure adequacy, or determine the need for reformulation.
  • Implementation of standards as required by TGA, APVMA, ACO and GMP.

 Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Diploma of Personal Care Formulation or other relevant science related field.
  • An understanding of GMP and compliance.
  • The ability to make smart decisions based on sound scientific analysis.
  • Friendly attitude to fit into our no pressure environment 🙂

This opportunity is great for someone who would love hands on experience and to be there own boss within a work environment. We require a dedicated, reliable, self-motivated individual who is willing to embrace a wide variety of tasks within a small team environment.

This hands on full time position is involved in all facets of skincare product manufacturing including filling, boxing, batch stamping as well as cleaning of work areas, equipment and machinery. There may be some opportunity to assist in other duties including minor warehouse as well as the potential opportunity to expand in to other roles. The position is suited to a neat, versatile, well organised person seeking a career. Production, manufacturing and hygiene as well as knowledge of QC, QA and regulatory concepts an advantage. Mechanically minded also an advantage.
