Your role/part:

I am currently the Technical Manager at Delta and this role involves the following key responsibilities:

• Critically assessing all new products to ensure decisions to commercialise are balanced and viable
• Providing technical expertise and guidance in resolving manufacturing issues to ensure all products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements
• Formulating and evaluating a wide variety of high quality and innovative products in line with customer expectations
• Training, developing and providing guidance to a team of highly qualified R&D Chemists

How have your studies helped progress:

I completed the IPCS Certificate in Advanced Cosmetic Science in 2016 and found the course to be extremely relevant, well-organised and useful in my role as an R&D Chemist.  The flexible online delivery was convenient and the content expanded my understanding of the art and science of formulating.  The course provided a solid foundation for me to develop my formulating skills and offered a number of valuable resources that I continue to refer to in my current role.
