What makes FIGGI BEAUTY special:

I was diagnosed with Panic Disorder in 2015 which forced me to reconsider my life path. Facing a health and soul crisis, I had to make difficult choices. The human rights career I built with a single-minded focus no longer inspired me, and the symptoms of my diagnosis were wreaking havoc on my life. From the ashes of my Breaking, FIGGI Beauty was born.

Sensitive skin was a constant symptom of my diagnosis, and so, I released my luxury skincare experience for sensitive skin issues and dry skin woes with my hero ingredient from my native South Africa: Green Rooibos Extract. This ingredient is proven to calm and soothe and our entire range focuses on what is NOT in the skincare. We are free from: fragrance, essential oils, linalool, limonene, and artificial colorants.

Feeling alone and isolated as an anxious entrepreneur and overachiever, I founded the  Anxious Calm Academy & Community for others like me, seeking a peaceful coexistence with their anxiety and a quality life despite their wiring.

How have your studies helped progress:

Immensely – I wanted to be a key decision maker in my formulations and to understand when I can push back on what I want in the formulation and how I think it can be improved. Without my studies this would not have been possible.
