What will I learn to formulate?

All of our cosmetic science programs teach professional, industry recognised cosmetic formulation using natural, organic and synthetic cosmetic ingredients. It is up to you which ones you want to focus on most throughout your cosmetic study program!

When you study with us, you get:

  • cosmetic practical materials (in our cosmetic formulation courses) sent to you
  • electronic text and on-line lecture access – so you can study at a time and place that suits you
  • tutorial videos including extra and specific guidance, multiple practical demonstrations and workplace simulated scenarios

  • check-ups approximately every 2 weeks (but you can contact us at any time if you need extra support)

It takes training from the Diploma program with less assessment work. It represents approximately 300 hours of study, and on completion, you will be an Internationally Recognised Professional Cosmetic Formulator.

Because the program is highly specialised, learners must be able to formulate cosmetics to at least our Certificate in Advanced Cosmetic Science level prior to, or in conjunction with studying this course.  On completion, you will be an Internationally Recognised Professional Colour Cosmetic Formulator.
